ABOUT RON

Ron Schutté has proudly called Yonkers home for over 43 years. A dedicated community member, Ron has spent his life in service—to his country, his neighbors, and the next generation of leaders.

A former U.S. Army Military Intelligence Officer, Ron served on active duty and attained the rank of Captain. After his military service, he became a successful small business owner, building and operating several manufacturing businesses.

Today, Ron continues his commitment to education and leadership as President of an inner-city high school, where he works every day to create opportunities for young people. He also serves on the Boards of Directors for two high schools.

Ron and his wife Maureen have been married for 47 years. Together, they raised a daughter and enjoy the companionship of their very friendly dog. They are active parishioners at Annunciation-Our Lady of Fatima Church, and Ron is a proud member of The Blessed Mother Council of the Knights of Columbus.

His involvement in civic and political life includes serving as Co-Ward Leader for the Yonkers Republican 10th Ward, membership in the Northeast Yonkers Republican Club, and past service on the Steering Committee of the Ad Hoc Crestwood Association.

Ron is a principled leader rooted in faith, service, and community—and he's ready to bring that dedication to public office.
